Saving some cash when you go to DisneyWorld might seem to be a contradiction in terms, but with a little smart planning and preparation, visitors can have an enjoyable trip to Orlando without running up a huge credit card debt.
The Walt Disney World Resort is absolutely huge, with an area of almost 49 square miles just outside Kissimmee, Florida. There are four gigantic theme parks, Epcot, MGM Studios, the Animal Kingdom, and the Magic Kingdom. With so many things to see, tourists almost always spend at least a week just to see everything. Disney World has built more than 12 hotels just to house visitors to the area.
Of course, Disney executives recognize that people are looking for different things when visiting the area. For this reason, they have resorts that fit every budget. Hotels are separated into Value, Moderate, and Deluxe classifications. Value is sort of the Disney way of saying cheap, but customers won't be let down, as the Disney Value resorts are nice and comfortable. Moderate resorts are definitely nicer, promising slightly larger rooms and full-service, sit down dining on the property.
Deluxe resorts at Walt Disney World are full service accommodations built to satisfy and placate any tourist. Many of the hotels such as the Contemporary Resort and Yacht Club are on the monorail, so guests can easily ride to Epcot without having a car or riding a bus. Guest accommodations are much bigger, and the Disney World experience is of course magical.
So how do you decide which resort to stay at? Well would you rather use your hard earned cash on gifts or indulge yourself with the best, after all you are on holiday? Value rooms like the Disney Pop Century Resort can cost anywhere from $75 to $140 per night, while Deluxe Hotel start from $200 and go up from there. As you can see, if you multiply that by 6 to 9 nights, you could end up spending thousands more just for a better room.
The choice is yours, but whatever you decide, you will be sure Disney World cast members will work hard to make sure you and your family have a good time on your trip away from home.
